HIS 2000 - History of Science and Technology:GT-HI1 Credits: 3 Explores the complex relationship between scientific and technological developments and western society and culture. It emphasizes the way social and cultural norms can impact scientific or technological progress, and vice-versa, especially in the period since the Scientific Revolution. This course focuses on developing, practicing, and strengthening skills historians use while constructing knowledge and studying a diverse set of narratives through perspectives such as gender, class, religion, and ethnicity. This is a statewide Guaranteed Transfer course in the GT-HI1 category. Students must have the same college readiness as all other GT HI1 course currently offered
