ARE 122 - Electrical II

Presents general safety, tools of the electrical trade, contractor-owned tools, trade history and introduces electrical theory, conduit outlet boxes and the National Electrical Code. Explores the sources of electricity, trade math, laws of electricity, series circuits, parallel circuits, and series parallel circuits. Covers magnetism laws, wire devices, service boxes, connectors, conduit bending, conductors and insulators, and insulation, and pulling large and small wires. Prerequisite(s): ARE 120 with “C” or better or permission of instructor.
