Barber Crossover EndorsementTotal Certificate Hours: 37 Transfer Credit Hours + 13 Barber Credit Hours = 50 Total Credit Hours The Barber Crossover Endorsement certificate is designed to provide students who have completed a cosmetology degree with a pathway to complete the exam for licensure as a barber, with the ability to become certified in both cosmetology and barbering. This includes working with the scalp and hair of the head, performing face shaving and beard trimming and basic barber facials. Instruction is provided through classroom, clinical, and applied learning activities. It offers the newest techniques and hands-on experience needed, as well as the business skills and management preparation to launch a successful career in the barbering industry. The course of study has been approved by the Colorado State Office of Barbers and Cosmetology. |
