Plumbing Level I Certificate

This certificate program prepares students to pursue professional career opportunities in the construction industry specifically as it pertains to plumbing. The curriculum explores ideas surrounding piping skills, plumbing service, waste and venting, and code requirements for plumbing. Coursework will include piping requirements and calculations; waste and vent install and calculations as well as code requirements as outlined in the International Plumbing Code book.

Certificate completers will be able to:

1. Effectively demonstrate an understanding of plumbing materials and methods.
2. Understand requirements for plumbing supply, waste and vent.
3. Understand plumbing code as outlined in the International Plumbing Code book.
