EMS 121 - EMT Fundamentals

Introduces the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) student to prehospital emergency care. The topics included in this course are Emergency Medical Services (EMS) systems, well-being of the EMT, communications, documentation, anatomy, airway management, and patient assessment. Prerequisite(s): Accuplacer Scores RC 40-61 and SS 50-69 or equivalent CCPT scores, or successful completion of CCR 092 Co-requisite(s): EMS 122, 123, 124, 170
