Includes a brief review of intermediate algebra, equations and inequalities, functions and their graphs, exponential and logarithmic functions, linear and non-linear systems; selection of topics from among graphing of the conic sections, introduction to sequences and series permutations and combinations, binomial theorem and theory of equations. Prerequisite(s): Accuplacer EA ≥ 85 or higher or equivalent CCPT score, or ACT 23 (Math) or higher or equivalent SAT score or successful completion of MAT 055 (grade of C or higher) Co-requisite(s): Students with Accuplacer 80-84 or equivalent CCPT score or who have not successfully completed MAT 055 with a grade of C or higher will be required to co-enroll in MAT 093
