Written Communication: (6 credits)

Some educator preparation programs require a B- in ENG 1021 as an admission requirement. However, a C- or better meets the general education GT-CO1 requirement.

• ENG 1021 - English Composition I: GT-CO1 Credits: 3(3-0) a grade of “B” or higher must be attained in this course
• ENG 1022 - English Composition II: GT-CO2 Credits: 3(3-0)

Mathematics: (6 credits)

Completion of MAT 1220 & MAT 1230 with a C- or higher will satisfy the GT Pathways math requirement at some institutions but not all. At the receiving institution’s discretion, students may be asked to complete at GT-MA1 approved course.

MAT 1220 and MAT 1230 became approved GT Pathways courses, effective Summer 2020.

Students must pass with a C- or higher in BOTH SCI 1055 & SCI 1056 to satisfy the GT Pathways science requirement.

• SCI 1056 - Integrated Science II: Earth and Life Science with Lab GT-SC1 Credits: 4(3-1)
