General Education Requirements: (33 credits)

A grade of “C” or higher is required for successful completion of all Guaranteed Transfer (GT) courses.

Required Courses: (18 credits)

Please note:  If these credits are NOT required for the MAJOR at a receiving 4 year institution, they will be applied to the Bachelor’s degree as ELECTIVE CREDIT towards graduation.  Please check with the receiving institution to determine in which way these courses will be applied.

• ECE 1045 - Introduction to Early Childhood Education Techniques Credits: 3(1-2)
• ECE 1031 - Guidance Strategies for Young Children Credits: 3(3-0)
• ECE 2621 - ECE Curriculum Development: Methods and Techniques Credits: 3(3-0)
• ECE 2381 - ECE Child Growth and Development Credits: 3(3-0)
• ECE 2101 - Working with Families and Communities Credits: 3 (3-0)

Electives: (9 credits)

Nine credits determined by the receiving 4-year institution.
