Note:
All BIO Prefixed courses must be completed within 7 years prior to entry. Acceptance into the Nursing Program is contingent upon attaining a minimum grade of “C” for each prerequisite course and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above in prerequisite nursing courses. Other Required General Education Courses: (11 or 13 credits)
Required Nursing Courses: (51 credits)
Note(s):
* This course will be necessary only if the student decides to sit for the National Council Licensure Exam to obtain a license as a licensed practical nurse. ALL prerequisite general education coursework (18 credits) must be completed prior to application for PN licensure.
**Licensed Practical Nurses and students who have exited the first year of a nursing program and who have not completed NUR 150 - Obstetric and Pediatric Nursing or equivalent, must complete NUR 189 Transition from LPN to ADN to qualify for entry into the RN year of the program. |
