Basic Skills Assessment


Accuplacer or Compass or Asset or following with “C” or better
EA 61 or greater or ALG 45 or greater or IA 35 or greater MAT 090 or higher

 

Note:


All BIO Prefixed courses must be completed within 7 years prior to entry. Acceptance into the Nursing Program is contingent upon attaining a minimum grade of “C” for each prerequisite course and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above in prerequisite nursing courses.

Other Required General Education Courses: (11 or 13 credits)


Note(s):


* This course will be necessary only if the student decides to sit for the National Council Licensure Exam to obtain a license as a licensed practical nurse. ALL prerequisite general education coursework (18 credits) must be completed prior to application for PN licensure.

**Licensed Practical Nurses and students who have exited the first year of a nursing program and who have not completed NUR 150 - Obstetric and Pediatric Nursing or equivalent, must complete NUR 189 Transition from LPN to ADN to qualify for entry into the RN year of the program.
