ECE 205 - Nutrition Health and Safety Credits: 3(3-0) Focuses on nutrition, health and safety as a key factor for optimal growth and development of young children. Includes nutrition knowledge, menu planning, food program participation, health practices, management and safety, appropriate activities and communication with families. This course addresses children ages birth through 12 years. . Prerequisite(s): Co-requisite of ECE 101 or completion of ECE 101 or Instructor permission.
