Basic Skills Assessment

RC 83 or greater or   RS 75 or greater or   RS 41 or greater or   REA 090 
SS 86 or greater or   WS 70 or greater or   WS 41 or greater or   ENG 090  or ENG 121 
EA 61 or greater or   ALG 45 or greater or   IA 35 or greater or   MAT 106 or MAT 107 


All BIO Prefixed courses must be completed within 7 years prior to entry. Acceptance into the Nursing Program is contingent upon attaining a minimum grade of “C” for each prerequisite course and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.

General Education: (21 credits)

Communication (3 credits)

Social and Behavioral Sciences: (3 credits)

Humanities or Social/Behavioral Science Elective: (3 credits)

(prior to graduation)

Other Required Courses: (8 credits)


* This course will be necessary only if the student decides to sit for the National Council Licensure Exam to obtain a license as a licensed practical nurse. ALL General Education coursework must be completed prior to application for PN licensure.

**All students entering the second year of the ADN Program who have not been continuously enrolled from the first to the second year of the program will be required to complete this course. This course will be offered in the semester prior to the first semester of the second year of the program, providing there are 10 or more students who need the course.
